Infant Care: newborns-23 months
Our baby room is separated from the main learning room. Here infants can play and explore safely with age appropriate toys. They spend their day under Maria's care, and follow schedules planned out by each parent. We can accomodate different feeding routines for breastfed and formula fed babies. Our infant ratio is 1:3.
Toddlers: 2-3 year olds
There's nothing more fun for a toddler than getting messy and being silly! We encourage learning through play, music, and hand's on activities. An activity calendar goes home every month. We have weekly themed activities based on the letter of the week and learn about events such as Earth Day, season changes, and holidays.
Pre-schoolers: 4-5 year olds
We believe in introducing reading, writing, and math concepts to preschoolers, and apply them every chance we get. Our methods encourage fun and play. We have learned over time that the best way to teach and relate to 4-5 year olds has been through play. For example, singing "Five Little Monkeys" to teach subtraction, or learning to write through free-drawing and tracing.
Many of our current and previous parents have enjoyed our methods used to prepare preschoolers for Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten, and have noticed growth in their children's learning. All of our 5 year old preschoolers have passed entry exams for kindergarten and private elementary schools in Castro Valley, Pleasanton, and Dublin school districts.
